Thailand: Day 10

Kritsana's friend took us to a look out point. It was breathtaking. I still can't believe I was actually there.

This giggling group of muslim girls wanted a picture with us.

They had never seen white skin before.

They seriously were laughing the entire time.

Thailand: Day 9

We went to dinner at this great place.

I'm not exactly sure what it was overlooking,

But it was beautiful.

The English translations were so funny. The menus always said Banana Sprit for Banana Split.

We asked Kritsana what Squid tasted like and she said "Salty rubber" Shay being the daredevil she is tried it out..

People travel from all over to come and see this Budha.

It is regarded as the most beautiful Budha in Thailand

It is incredible. Nothing compares to seeing it in real life.

We celebrated Loy Krathong, Loy Krathong is held on the first full moon of November. It is a Holiday to honor and pay respect to their Water Goddess, Phra Mae Khongkha (พระแม่คงคา) They make elaborate, biodegradable rafts and float them on waterways. It is a beautiful Celebration. Check this picture out. Isn't this amazing?!
